What to Get For That Special Man in Your Life

A movie called "What Women Want" came out while back and depicting in the movie that it really was something simple. The time to be by herself, and wanting to think and feel the environment around her. The movie seemed to be going on a very simple premise that it did not look at a material item. The concept is simple and maybe if we think about it could be just that, simple. So then to be fair we ask the question of what does a man want? Could it be also just that simple? Have we asked the right men that question? And why would we want to ask that question?



I have asked that question to many of my male friends and tried to also set the stage to make it equal and the answers did not surprise me. I set the stage so if they were to receive a gift from their wife, significant other or family member what would they like or even for that matter remember for some time to come. The majority of them had not even thought of it enough to care. Their attitude was they knew if they were going to receive a gift for whatever occasion, it would probably be something the person giving it believed they would like. Then most of them went on to say that if they really wanted something, they would go and get it themselves. Did that answer surprise you? Probably not but then did you ask the right question to get him thinking about it? If you are looking for a particular occasion then that question might be easy. However if you are thinking to just surprise him then you are going to need a leading question. It is really simple to get him to talk about things he likes and then find out he could not really have some he wants by following this train of thought. That thought pattern can be used for special events or if you are trying to surprise him, it really doesn’t matter but he will let something slip by of what he wants if it is a subject or hobby he likes talking about. We could ask that man in your life what he wants, but remember, he doesn’t think about it much so don’t be shocked by his answer.



Now I might have a different circle of friends due to the answers I received, but have you asked that special man in your life that question of what does he want? Remember that when asking what does a woman want, it was really something simple. I believe the same holds true for a man as well. Give him something simple and maybe something he has never received before, to really throw him for a loop. I think from the men I talked to they are just happy someone thought of them and took the time to show it. Happy shopping my friends, and remember, simple could be just what the doctor ordered.
